REST IN PEACE, JOHN LENNON
October 9, 1940 - December 8, 1980

A tragic loss for music and the world.

May the scumbag who killed him rot forever in hell.

4. Somehow I find it hard to imagine Lennon...
having as much animosity towards the mentally ill man that shot him.

7. Yeah he'd probably get philosophical and start campaigning for gun control
I see him doing that should he survive the shot.

9. He will live forever in our hearts

In the end the love you take
is equal to the love you make.

And that is a heck of a lot in John's case.

11. I was just a few days short of my Tenth B-day
My Mother came upstairs to my Bedroom and woke me. I knew something was wrong, the last early awakening I had gotten was my Dad's Death in April of 79. She had tears in her eyes, and I asked what was wrong. She said, Honey, I don't know how to tell you this, but, John Lennon was shot and Killed in New York. I broke down and cried myself back to sleep. I wore black to school for days. I mourned for him for days, and still feel the tragic loss to this day. Ya know, Denis Leary said it best... How in the Fuck does one justify John Lennon being shot in the back, yet Barry Manilow continues to make fucking records?

Rest in Peace John Winston Ono Lennon, You have made me "Imagine".
