70 years ago today....

my parents got married. My mother is still alive at 93, but my father passed away 12 years ago...sadly.

They waited nearly 15 years to bring their crowning achievement into the world. <taking bows> My sister is 5 years older.

2. Gee and I was born that year.

My mother in law once told me she had to clean the oil lights as a child and I could hardly believe her(She was born early 1900) and now I feel I am just as much out of it. My first air plane trip I walked out on the field and up a set of steps to get on. It was in the late 40's.I do not recall having to empty the water pan under the ice box.
