Would anyone be interested in a comic book/graphic novel group?
For the purpose of discussing funny books.

Any manga weirdos should also kindly express interest

3. I would second that motion...
I've done some cartooning, more in the funny animal vein, and I don't know much about graphic novels, but this seems like something a lot of people around here might be interested in.

You got me a member even if only as an apperciater...

5. I suggested when people were asking for a sci-fi forum, to just have
a "DU Android's Dungeon and Baseball Card Shop"

where all manner of broad "comic-book guy" type of issues were discussed. Since Skinner is in charge of the whole DU, comic-book guy would be the official ghost moderator of it.

7. Yours was a good idea
But any discussion of comic books seems to have been banished from the Sci-Fi forum and the Fantasy forum

It's gotten ridiculously fragmented

I know how you feel, though. A few weeks ago, I proposed an Asexuals Forum that was met only with mockery and disdain and NOWW we have a loner's forum. 'S all in the wording, I guess.

9. Sure
I'm not much of a comic book guy (well at least not like I was when I was a kid) but I've gotten a renewed interest in the genre (mainly one of my fav writers Brad Meltzer has started writing them.)
