It sure had a rightist slant... the soldiers were always put on the defensive. One of them should have brought up W's AWOL/Deserter status.
The Christian Rock story was sure pro-fundie, too... this is breaking news? Ain't these guys ever heard of Stryper?

POD and Creed had religious undertones, etc. They had been around for years (though I think both have since broken up).
IMO, the deserter piece, albeit putting them on the defensive was pretty good, as it showed the conscience of these guys, rather than letting cowardice be the reigning theory.

that maybe didn't make the final cut
I felt the overall tone was pretty balanced but the line of questioning and the aggressive tone of the questions was over the top. the answers were great and these guys handled themselves great. it just would have been more balanced to see a neutral or even anti-war-based question thrown in.
