Internet Porn Worse than Crack says Senate Subcomittee
"Internet pornography is the new crack cocaine, leading to addiction, misogyny, pedophilia, boob jobs and erectile dysfunction, according to clinicians and researchers testifying before a Senate committee Thursday.

Witnesses before the Senate Commerce Committee's Science, Technology and Space Subcommittee spared no superlative in their description of the negative effects of pornography. "

5. Porn's not the real issue....
This is the first step in taking the internet away from us. This is how these fascists operate. Just look at the last 4 years, you can see it. Of course crack is worse than some bare titties. But they can ramp up the rhetoric until we beg them to put an end to the internet. "Oh, please save us from the naked people mr president"

17. I know it
They hate that we use the internet to resist them. They can't stand when their murderous, lying ways are revealed. And they know that they can use their brainless fundies twisted hatred of sex to kill the internet.

22. Porn and terrorism.
Those will be the reasons the internet must be banned or controled so strickly it will no longer be a useful way to resist them.

23. Damn ! How did I forget about terror ?!?!
Especially with the asshole ex-CIA director Tenet flappin on about that topic all this week ! (terrorist attack of the net)

There you have it, the beginning of the end of the internet as we know it. Which of our Democrat "leaders" do you think will be the first to endorse ? Maybe one of our guys will write the bill ? Lieberman ? That's right up his alley ! He's "strong on defense" AND, he's a holy roller !
They can fast-track it through on a friday night !

29. Controlled, but not banned
Too many companies are making money from it, so it won't be banned. But they will want it tightly controlled. Think something like AOL here.

They took note of how Shit-for-Brains won the election with their help. I would like to see what magazines and videos they all have in their "private" collections.

Funny, somehow internet porn never makes my "erectile dysfunction". These "clinicians and researchers" must be from The Family Research Council.

19. Murdoch and Time Warner make a MINT from hardcore porn
It's by far the #1 pay-per-view entertainment choice coast-to-coast. You think guys on business trips pay nine bucks to watch "Jersey Girl"?

This is all a dog-and-pony show for the right. Pornography is about the last manufacturing industry left in America, and it rakes in billions. With so many Republicans on that gravy train, it will NEVER go away.

20. What the committee really hates and fears is...
... the release of naturally occuring opioids in the brain, which is a scientific description of PLEASURE. It's in the article, and they think it's worse than heroin. This is puritanism run amok.
