The People's Court is really good. She kicks ass. I think on the abc.com website you can go to the daytime section and read all of the synopses.

I have been screaming now, for at least five months, "Give Bianca the baby back, already!"

5. Lance Stunning elopes with Ednah Buzzo........

Ednah has amnesia and forgets she is married to Bruce Pasely
who has snuck over from " The Edge of Wettness " Binaca Jagger runs off to Cleveland with Paris Motel 6 but then she remembers she has amnesia and is really in love with Lance Boil who has left town with Kitty Litter's aunt Muffy Fastwanker, it all gets explained with the big group flashback next monday.

8. Muffy Fastwanker was on Days of our Hives

with Lance Boil for 17 years then came over to " All My Children" when the network was bought out by the Bow Flex corp.
i saw a soap opera last year and one guy looked the same as he did 15 years ago......wierd stuff those soaps. haven't some of them been on for 40 years or more ? alot of great actresses and actors started on soaps

9. Technically, Bianca Should Only Be 8 Years Old...

... newborn babies become babbling toddlers in one year... next year they are in first grade... the following year they are adolescents (indicating compressed/faster time progression.)

Yet, Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes always arrive ON TIME every year (indicating normal time progression)... yet one single day can be drawn out for a whole week's worth of episodes (indicating expanded, slower time progression).

What's up with that? How can this be??

course i cant remember much since i was only about 5 but i loved amc back then. at least thats how i recall it

12. Ahh... I Remember Mona.

I also remember Mary's death (I think)... and Kitty did have a mysterious twin sister.

I also recall (word for word) the goodbye song that Kitty wrote for Linc to let him know that she knew she was dying. Everyone was trying to protect her and not let her know the truth, but her love song was a way of letting him know that he could stop pretending, and that she had accepted what was to be. (I used to know the guitar chords for it too.)

Anne loved her yellow roses... Nick wasn't one of my favorites. He only realized what he had after he had ruined it.

Remember the seances when Nina's mother would "appear" and visit? Remember the ORIGINAL Opal?? The only... the best!

if its not asking too much, could you hum a few bars for me here?

oh thats right - anne and yellow roses. i couldnt quite place the actress until i saw ryans hope reruns from about 1978. anne made a brief appearance to date seneca and when i saw her, i knew she was familiar but couldnt place her immediately.

ok. original opal rocked. she flew into town at just about the right time because erica and her whirlwinds (jeremy esp) were getting to be too much.
but opal? no way. she was right on

drat. dont remember the seances but if opal was there i would have loved to have seen them

15. heres to kitty and linc~

i would say long may they live but that wouldnt be quite right so i will just say

they will live forever in our hearts.

i really shouldnt make fun. i loved that show and im sure at the time i was as broken up as a little one could be. i definitely remember all of that and i consider it the best period of the show. and it is sweet that you remember it that well to memorize the song

i know my mom and aunt watched it faithfully then

16. That Was A Fun Trip Down Memory Lane...

The only reason I was able to memorize the song in the first place was because I had recorded it on cassette tape. This was in 1977-78... before I even knew what a VCR was... and about the time that All My Children went from 30 minutes to one hour.

School was back in session and I had gotten hooked over the summer, so I plugged my portable TV and a portable cassette recorder into a LAMP TIMER. The whole thing would come on and record 45 minutes of All My Children.

That afternoon, several of us would listen to the tape to hear the plots unfold... just like we were listening to an old radio drama from the 1930's.

We had a blast!

11. Bianca slapped Babe.

Fans, people who actually watch and appreciate soaps, have been waiting for this payoff for months. Krystal entered with Ace/James and Bianca told her she hated her, but that she understood Krystal's impulses to protect Babe better than Babe's actions of lying to her face for so many months. Finally, Babe got a call from the injured Jamie and left with Krystal and Ace/James.

JR slugged Jamie with a wrench. Moved in to finish the job but Kendall stopped him.

JR went to the hotel where he found Bianca alone with Bess/Miranda. He told Bianca she was mentally unbalanced to think Bess was Miranda. Miranda was the loathesome child of a sick rapist, while Bess was beautiful and perfect. No one could ever love a creature of a rapist such as Miranda. He was vile. Bianca stuck to her guns and tried to reason with him, understanding his pain, his denial. But she insisted on taking Miranda with her. JR refused.

Krystal introduced Ace/James, Dixie's grandson, to Tad, calling the baby Thaddeus James Martin.

Babe told Kendall to get over to the hotel and be with Bianca. Kendall thought she was lying.
