Being Sick Sucks

I'm staying home from work today. Something I ate for lunch yesterday didn't agree with me - I spent all last night in and out of the bathroom, and was finally able to start throwing up around midnight.

Like I said, being sick sucks.

I caught a cold the week of Thanksgiving, and by last weekend it had turned into bronchitis. I saw the doc on Monday and he gave me some medicine to help w/ the cough and breathing, but this thing has totally sapped my energy.

6. Hope You're Feeling Well, Too

I called my doctor's office this afternoon, after I was still unable to keep anything down. They told me to take Pepto Bismol and not try to eat anything - just sips of 7-Up.

I'm feeling better tonight, but I'll probably stay home tomorrow, too.

9. Fellow Sickie Here

Been sick since last Friday. Started with sore throat and dry cough. Moved sinus congestion, then chest congestion along with wheezing and asthma. The sore throat is gone and the sinus congestion is better, but the chest congestion is killing me. I'm coughing so hard my chest is hurting ALL the time.

I'm on prednisone, antibiotics, decongestants, flonase and asthma meds. I am getting better, but very, very slowly.
