Pass the Cheese... I'm gonna whine
Why aren't my clients paying me? I sent out roughly $4,000 in invoices almost a month ago. No one has paid up yet.

When am I ever going to get out of this house? Since hubby's car earned a spot on the "dead until further notice" list (or at least the "dead until you come up with $2K to fix me" list), he's driving my Jeep. I have no car... there are no cabs in my city... I don't have a clue how to catch the city bus or even where the closest stop is. I've been stuck in this house all week long with all three children -- unless you count the glorious 30 minutes I spent in the Hy-Vee monday night.

Why do I have so many medical bills even though we supposedly carry the best insurance available in Iowa? Why are there deductibles for everything? Why is my mountain of medical debt more than all my other bills combined?

There's more... but those let the steam off so I can function again. Thanks for giving me a moment.

1. Whoa, Here's Some Cheddar From My Fridge...
That's a LOT you have on your plate. I don't blame you a bit for whining.

Hey can't you drop your hubby at work 2 days a week & pick him up? I'd go nuts without any transportation!

4. He has a 40 mile commute
Technically I can drop him off, but then I spend 3+ hours of the day driving there and back, there and back. It just seems like a waste of fuel to me. I've got a call into the city bus folks to see what's available. With any luck, there will be stop close by and the kids and I can go walk the mall or something. As a bonus prize, my 4-year-old would consider riding on a city bus a big treat. LOL!

2. I'm sure you already know the answer to your questions
As far as your billing goes, send out a polite reminder. The squeeky wheel gets the cash.

3. And if that doesn't work
Hire some big burley guys with vowels at the end of their last names! (Just trying to make you smile a little) :)
