I know Home Depot gives to the Thugs, what about Lowe's? |

I want to give my brother a gift card because he's doing major work on his house, and I REALLY don't want to get the card at Home Depot.
Can't find Lowe's at www.buyblue.org or www.choosetheblue.com. Anyone have any information?
Thanks.

But, I can't say for sure. it could just be the lesser of 2 evils.

Makes me feel terrific about all of my purchases at Borders, B&N, Bed Bath & Beyond, MAC, Bobbi Brown, and so forth. Might have to take a trip to Sonic this weekend to celebrate. :D

4. Complete donation history of Lowes and Home Depot chiefs |
|
According to the FEC Robert Tillman, chairman and ceo of Lowe's, has no campaign contributions on record. However, Robert Nardelli, HD's chairman and ceo has quite a record: http://www.newsmeat.com/ceo_political_donations/Robert_Nardelli.php

6. Lowe's Companies PAC--100 percent to Republicans in 2004 |

According to opensecrets.org, the Lowe's PAC donated exclusively to Richard Burr in this election cycle. This is Home Depot's PAC data: http://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/pacgot.asp?strID=C00284885&Cycle=2004This is my favorite PAC: The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers: http://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/lookup2.asp?strID=C0002734296 percent to Democrats!
