Bennington to ban public nudity

Oh the horror when students at such liberal arts institutions are to be denied the right to wander campus naked....

"BENNINGTON, Vermont (Reuters) -- Students occasionally parading buck naked around Vermont's Bennington College campus has been a tolerated, if peculiar, part of the university's student culture here since the 1960s.

Now Robert Graves, hired this year as Bennington's dean of students, has embarked on a crusade against public nudity -- one that has run afoul of the school's free-spirited students."

10. I wouldn't consider it a problem

but intercourse of all kinds has occurred in and around Bourbon Street late into the evening and early morning and usually with a crowd in attendance. The issue was brought to the fore by a baptist minister who took a video camera down the quarter during Southern Decadence, a gathering of homosexuals. He spent hours videotaping the activities. Me thinks for personal consumption, but he whined to the city fathers.

6. a bunch of hippies

lived at the "hippie house" up the hill (a 150 year old hotel) from us in the 70s. Ran around naked right up until the first winter (20 below zero!) They didn't last that first winter. All the old farmers around just laughed at them.
