Help! My ATM is made by DIEBOLD! |
|
Okay, so my bank just upgraded their ATMs. I went to withdraw money from one and saw at the top of the machine that it is made by DIEBOLD. Should I be concerned for my accounts? I'm afraid they may have a "technical error" and my money will disappear one day. How do I prevent my money from being stolen by the Repukes dirty machine?!?

2. So I shouldn't be worried? |
|
I'm really wondering if I should withdraw my money and go elsewhere. Or even hide it under my mattress. At least there it wouldn't be in danger of getting skimmed by the Repukkklican Party.

5. Yes you should be worried. |
|
The ATM is probably not our biggest problem. They have everything on lockdown. I would not worry about skimming as much as spying onn you and your money. Selling your info.

4. I'm sure the machine works very well. |
|
Diebold is committed to offering its clients top quality products. Their machines do exactly what they're supposed to do. Problem is, when it comes to voting machines, the Republican Party is Diebold's client, and their machines steal votes from Democrats very effectively.

Diebold has been making ATMs ever since there were ATMs in this country (which is after Japan and Europe got them, by the way).
They give you a paper trail, and if you're smart, you'll hang on to your receipts until you get your monthly statement, because it can save your hide if somehow a deposit isn't credited and you start bouncing checks. It happened to me, and because I had both the deposit receipts and the stubs from the original checks, the bank was forced to admit that they had made an error, put the money in my account, rescind the fees, and write letters of explanation to all the businesses where I had inadvertently bounced checks.

8. I'd like to boycott Diebold ATMs and the banks that use them |
|
but I never get any response when I suggest it. I don't want to give them the business (or should that be I do want to "give them the business"?)
I think your money and transactions are safe. They know how to make secure systems; they just deliberately don't want to do that for election systems.
