Isabel kicked my ass
Edited on Tue Sep-23-03 10:30 AM by Demman
Although I am lucky compared to some in Central VA.

But I still have no power, no phone, I threw out all the food, A big oak is bullseyeing my garage. My D-Cells are running out of juice. And I am in a real crappy mood. I will trade a gallon of hot water to anyone for 10 BTU's.

DDQM

BTW- My starter fried out in my car on Sunday also.

4. I am sorry
My house was hit by Tropical Storm Bill and almost totalled but they managed to save it. My heart goes out to you. It takes a long time to get back to normal. It took us 5 days just to get an insurance adjuster, much longer to get a new roof, new rooms, etc.

Power and phone were out over a week but we were put up in a hotel for part of that time by the insurance company. Internet was free at the library. We saved our food in coolers and also after a couple days, the neighbors got their power back so they let us run a cord to power our fridge.

You will get through, it is just a hassle.
