Would you ever date a terminally perky person if they were a lefty?

Personally I like perky - balances out my gallows sense of life.

But I realize not everyone feels the same way...

And I remember talking with one, who was dating a good friend of mine. She was a pretty big lefty and I remember asking her "with all the shit thats going on in the world, with Bush in power and all, and with RvWade almost gone...how can you be so happy?"

And she simply replied "I'm alive - nothing can be so bad as to take the joy away from simply being alive, can it?"

Words that never were so true.

and I have developed very keen "wedding ring radar." I look at all the hot guys in the mirrors on the elevators and they're all married because I see rings in their reflections.

Not that I want to be married, but I do want to be wanted. And by someone I want too.

10. I HATE perky!

Perky is annoying, and it never seems real. I know that sometimes it is real, but to me, it usually comes across as phony. Did I mention, I HATE perky? :-)

Mostly with kids. I'm a "fun" mom so to speak, but with other grown-ups? Not as much- more introverted as a whole. Energetic at times, but not exactly "perky".
