so when a thread dissapears...
that was definately not archived unless they archive things that were posted to in under 2 minutes...then that means it was deleted by an admin i'm assuming
is there any sort of notification I should be looking for? e-mail/PM/anything?
thanks, sorry i'm still pretty new at this

2. I posted something in the election forum
about some software that was easily hacked but was used during the election...I guess that was bad?
why will this get locked?

3. Because you are supposed to ask questions like this
in the Ask the Administrators forum.

I don't know why your post was deleted, but you can ask that specifically in the ATA forum. Generally they won't delete a thread unless it's really bad or a lie or posted by a freeper. Usually they will lock it instead. Did you talk about Bev Harris? That's kind of a sore subject at the moment.

6. You can't move this thread.
And I wouldn't double-post it in ATA, that will just annoy them. What you should do is alert on this thread and ask the mod to move it.

5. it will be locked because it belongs in AtA...
i had a thread vanish w/o explanation recently. certainly wasn't remotely controversial... :shrug:
