I got infected with the virus so I reinstalled and got back online today. Also when I try to play music I get this: WaveOut Format not supported. I am glad to be back.

you might have to let windoze (I assume that's yer os) reinstall the sound card. That's where you go in and delete it and then reboot and let plug and play take over and re-detect it.

I have Win2K, not XP, maybe it works the same way...???

Make sure you have your windows CD handy just in case, then go into control panel and "add/remove hardware", follow the directions and find your sound card in the list. Delete it, reboot, windows should recongize a "new device". Tell it to look for the driver on the windows CD. Then reboot again and you should have sound.
