Today I drove with the car I have, not the one I would want
Should I become Secretary of Defense?

I paid for my gas with the money I have, not the money I would want.

I ate the food I have, not the food I would want.

I worked at the job I have, not the one I would want.

I wore the clothes I have, not the ones I would want.

I paid my taxes from my wages for the government I have,

NOT THE FRICKEN' GOVERNMENT I DESERVE

with the experience I have. (Warning: the real thinking of Donald Rumsfeld)

6. Today I wrote the exam I had, not the one I wanted
I wanted an exam on cat care. Instead I got Elderly and the Law and had to come up with estate and Medicaid planning for an elderly couple, compare and contrast Medicare proposals and tell some guy whether to take Social Security now, get married, enroll in Medicare, etc. C'est law vie, c'est la guerre.

8. The thinking people
...should be easily able to recognize the absurdity of Rummy the Dummy's statement. On December 7,1941, we went to war with the forces we had because Japan had attacked us. In this debacle, we attacked Iraq with less than adequeate forces and equipment because......? Somebody help me out here, I still don't get it.

<sarcasm>

9. As you know, we went to war in the Pacific in about 6 months
after Dec. 7th with a rebuilt fleet and the commanders we had, not with the military morons we have today

no expense spared. I'm sure the rich didn't mind paying their fair share to help finance the saving of their asses back then. Except for maybe Prescott Bush.
