I haven't posted much since the election, but my nerves are so on fucking
edge I have to.

This is more of a moral question that a poll wouldn't do enough respect: if your roommate tried to kill himself, would you risk your life to prevent it?

I, tonight, found out my answer is "yes." I've never been this close to dying, and I honestly (though I consider myself a good person) didn't know I had this in me. I'm not going into specifics, because it's his personal business, all I know is I needed to get some of this fucking nervous god dam fucking energy out of my system and DU is the best place to do it without inciting a right/left argument.

2. You obviously have done a good thing.
Pretty miserable way to learn about yourself, though, isn't it?

Are you and your roommate both okay?

7. Simply 'roomate' is not good enough
A friend, Significant other I would definately do it. Though a stranger or someone I hardly knew I wouldn't know if I would or not simply because I have never been placed in such a situation.

8. I had a roomate who killed himself.
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 06:20 AM by NNadir
He jumped off a bridge. A 77 year old man had a heart attack trying to pull his body out of Los Angeles harbor.

It was horrible. I've been trying to forget it for almost thirty years.
