1. most tiels love millet sprays
It might seem "cheap" but in my humble experience it was most appreciated.

3. No, I'd like to get her something special.
But donuts are out for her, she cannot have junk food and/or chocolate. Just healthy stuff. :)

6. Sometimes the best toys are the simplest!

Of course she will love the millet spray. But also, she would love paper to shred (be sure it doesn't have dyes or inks that might be harmful) a feather to chew on and destroy (save one of her shed tailfeathers and give it to her later on) even those lovely wooden rabbit treats (check out BusyBunny's line of chewable rattan and straw toys) that provide a bit of resistance to birdiebeaks.

Best of all, place a whole line of nonbreakable but light tchatchkies
(thread spools, little plastic figurines, empty plastic saltshakers, tiny liqueur bottles, etc) on a shelf or table edge and let her knock them off one by one by one by one! See how she races to the edge to see them hit the floor! If they are on the kitchen table, she will love the clatter on tile or linoleum!

One of My little Tiki's favourites was to give him a plain 3X5 filecard. He would contentedly sit on his play stand chewing and ripping it to shreds while murmuring "Tiki! Tiki! Tiki is a good birdie!" and whistling snatches of Yankee Doodle.

Tiki is perched on the Rainbow bridge now, but he is never forgotten.
