A news article I read said that the dioxin poisoning caused a severe form of acne (which is really inflammation) on his skin. I would think that the scars will remain.

Also, it sounds like the dioxin hurt his liver very badly, which means that he may have long-term issues.

Snopes does not discount the Dioxin claim, but does not know if it is dangerous levels or not.
