I'm getting a cold and it sucks. Hugs needed!
Plus to make it worse, I'm at work until about 11 p.m. or so.

It's also one of my friends b-day and I'm suppose to meet them out at the bar later.

I'll probably go just to see him. I have off Sunday and Monday so I might as well just suck it up, go out tonight and then rest the next two days.

Thanks for listening!

24. Sounds like me and my hubby
We've both been sick for a couple of weeks now - it eases up then gets worse again. He went to the doc yesterday who told him he has bronchitis. I don't know if I do as well or if it's just a lousy cold.

Hope you feel better. And I hope I feel better too! Oh, and hugs for the OP

3. If you can, eat spicy food
My favorite cold preventative is to go to my neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant and order a soup they call "Delta bowl." The broth is made with red pepper, lemongrass, tomato, and pineapple, and it's not only delicious but a miracle drug for sinus headaches.

5. Healing powers can be found in the wings of chickens
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 05:32 PM by underpants
If you can make yourself some chicken soup by boiling down some chicken wings for the base. Trust me my wife turned me on to that and it works like a dream.

7. Suck it up, ya big whiner..........
OK, I was just kidding.

Take Tylenol, quick. Lots of water, but not cold. Cough on someone you don't like. Spend time spitting in that person's Diet Coke. It won't help your cold, but you'll feel better.

Eat pizza. It's good for you when you're sick.

Take Nyquil. It's such a great buzz, I, an aging hippie, cannot believe it's legal.

If you don't have one, get a small vaporizer for your bedroom. That'll help keep your head clear.

Make sure you stay warm and bundled up.

Now I feel like I'm talking to one of my kids.

Yes, go out tonight and have fun and maybe you'll scare that nasty bug away.

Poor baby ...........

I'm hoping when I drink some beer tonight that I will piss this cold away!

I'm taking Advil Cold and Sinus. It always seems to help me.

BTW, thanks for the hug!:hi:

10. You need toasty thick red socks...ewwww...Not "Red", just red
it really works. Gotta be red, nice warm color. If you insist you can't face red at this point go with a deep orange.
