One of the funniest things I've seen at DU
and somewhat sad, I guess.
Skinner (bless his heart and may his tribe increase) has a thread pinned to the top of GD about candidate bashing and is trying his damndest to sort things out and keep some modicum of decorum over there and a flame war breaks out at the bottom of the thread.

I really don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Maybe both.
Hysterics?
:silly:

1. I saw that...
and your time-out declaration was very funny.

Yah, it is both sad and funny.

3. I know
And what's equally funny/sad is what some people consider 'bashing', especially among my fellow Dean-ites. They OBVIOUSLY aren't involved in the rough-and-tumble of Chicago politics, if they consider some of that stuff 'bashing. :silly:

5. It Did Get Out Of Hand
And spread throughout the other Forums. It's best to get everything ironed out now before the primaries and the election.

I'm glad he is addressing the situation now and I don't envy his job in the least.

Thanks Skinner!

6. on bashing:
I don't think I've ever had my mind changed by it.
What I want to hear is why I SHOULD vote for your guy,
not why I SHOULDN'T vote for the other guy.
Ain't nobody in this game perfect.
