1. Air polution!

:puke:

I rarely smell any woman's cologne that I can stand. I rarely wear any but can tolerate the scent of lavander.

Most mens cologne smells better than most womens, but even then - headache time for me.

On edit: have a sister in law that can clear a small city - WHY does she need that much artificial stench?

2. Clinique Aromatics Elixir
Reminds me of a woman with whom I was once deeply, deeply in lust . . . what a fascinating time that was. I adore this fragrance.

3. Narcisse Noir
Made by Caron. In France, of course.

Formerly hard to get, but now available online. Not very expensive as these things go--although the dollar's plunge has made a difference!

7. I tend to switch back and forth
I used to wear Chanel #5, but when my ex and I split up, it reminded me of him too much, so I stopped wearing it.

So now I kind of switch back and forth between,

Ciara
Sunflowers
Oscar de la Renta

10. Perfumes too strong for me...
I like an after bath light myst. Cheap stuff. Where I used to work, women and men were band from wearing perfumes. Too many allergic people in the office, especially our customers.

11. For everyday use, the Bath and Body Works body splashes
For parties and dinners, I like Estee Lauder's White Linen.

For the poster who mentioned Emeraude - my mother LOVED that. I'll have to find a bottle to have a reminder of her.

For daily type of wear, Crabtree and Evelyn's Rosewater and for evening occasions, Jean Paul Gaultier.
