Which actors will you always watch, and/or have seen all their films?
Even if it's a craptacular trailer, or all I know is they're in it, I will ALWAYS pay to see a movie starring one of these (I think I'm forgetting some):

Julia Roberts (don't say anything mean, either!)

Denzel Washington (except Remember the Titans...sports...uhhhh)

Ben Stiller

Johnny Depp

Cary Grant

Adrien Brody

Tom Cruise (post Mission Impossible, that film cast a spell on me. Before that I swore I'd never see one of his films in full. I don't even find him particularly attractive).

And you?

6. I assume you've seen that video
what is it, by Moby? Where he is dancing around what looks like a big hotel lobby and flying thru the air?

Damn that guy can act even when he's not saying a word.

19. Did you see him as the tap-dancing pimp
In "Pennies from Heaven" with Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters? That movie made me want to hurt myself, but I rented and watched it just for the brief few minutes watching CW's dance sequence. He's just amazing.

I love the "Weapon of Choice" video too.

But now that I've gotten to see him some more, I can see what Angelina saw in him. He's an intriguing sort.

60. Day Lewis got me into "Gangs of New York," too.
Well, I had other reasons for going, but since I am hugely squeamish about movie violence, it took a lot to get me to the theater. Day Lewis was truly brilliant in that film, though, and I'm glad I didn't miss that particular performance.

Before he turned into a complete wack job, I liked Mel Gibson a lot, too -- thought he was a good actor, and hot, as well. Actors whose movies I will do everything possible to avoid include Sylvester Stallone and Adam Sandler.

23. Will watch Anything in which these actors appear...
for their pure acting talent alone (some of 'em are hunks too...a bonus, really.)

Ned Beatty - a most Underrated actor, just 'cause he's not a leading man type...but Wow what a talent!

Al Pacino -- the more scenery he chews, the better I like it.

Kevin Spacey -- Have seen most of his movies, working on the few left I haven't seen. Will watch "The Usual Suspects" ad infinitum...and can't wait for next week's release of "Beyond the Sea."

Russell Crowe -- much more than just eye candy.

Jack Nicholson -- his place in American film is secure. Some clunkers, sure, but an incredible body of work.

Tommy Lee Jones -- Range...the word is Range.

Kenneth Branagh -- played a Nazi in "Conspiracy", "Hamlet", a romantic in "Much Ado About Nothing", and Iago to Laurence Fishburne's "Othello" -- gotta love his choices.

Not to leave out the ladies:
Glenn Close -- "The Big Chill", "Fatal Attraction"... "Mars Attacks"?? :D

Meryl Streep -- "Sophie's Choice", "Defending Your Life", "The River Wild", "Bridges of Madison County" -- oo-ee!

And from the classic film generation:
Burt Lancaster
Errol Flynn
James Stewart
Humphrey Bogart
Bette Davis
Katherine Hepburn

I'm sure I left out Somebody...I'm a rabid film watcher. :)

Easy Rider, The Last Detail, Five Easy Pieces, Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Fortune. But since the eighties, he seems to just play Nicholson. Although, I must admit, Nicholson playing Nicholson is better than most actors playing a part.

There are many others that I could list.

For some reason I have seen every movie Tupac starred in. He was talented, he really put the emotions in the character to make him appear real. His most impressive performances was in Juice(2nd half of the movie) and Gridlock'd. The best movies he was in was Gang Related and Gridlock'd. He has shown me the potential to shine in a film with an excellent storyline. He was a versatile artist in many ways.

35. There are a Lot of Actors That I Like
but thinking through it, I've missed movies by all my faves if the films weren't appealing. The only current actor who would draw me to a film based only on his or her presence seems to be Ben Kingsley.

For classic films, it would be Humphrey Bogart.

Although I do have to add this: I first became aware of Catherine Zeta Jones about eight years ago when she did that Zorro movie with Antonio Banderas. The ONLY reason I went to see that movie was because I saw this unknown actress in the credits. That's highly unusual for me.
