Terry Bradshaw: What's really (really) wrong with him? |
|
Edited on Sun Dec-12-04 01:58 AM by goodbody
What's wrong with this Quarterback guy? He was on Leno again last night, with the same 'ol-same 'ol message. Did anyone see it? You want to expect that he is a winner, yet he comes across on national T.V. as a homeless person with issues.
What happened to this guy? I remember him as being fairly decent; now he seems like a desperate wretch. Thoughts?

But isn't that what they say about all the football guys?
Terry has emotional issues relating to women. Why is he the crudest man in football? He gets worse every time you see him. And he even seems to realize it. Hello.

5. Lord knows those 70s Raiders were all well behaved... |
|
Terry did interviews with the local media when he patched things up with the Steelers, and he was definately not playing his TV character. Much more calm and subdued than you're used to from him.

6. What, you're accusing "America's Team" of bad behavior! |
|
Well you're right. Check out the book "Snake" by Kenny Stabler. It documents some of it in lurid detail. It's taken me two decades to cool down but I must admit that Bradshaw was a real warrior and that the Pittsburg team was exceptional. I've even forgiven Mr. Rooney for paying off the refs in the playoff games the Raiders lost. The two cities have a lot in common, as do the teams (although we have a much higher percentage of convicted felons).
I've just seen Bradshaw a few times on 1/2 time shows. It's real edgy stuff since he looks like he's having a meltdown.
