2. When I lived in Alabama for a year

There were swarms of these small flying bugs that were like two bugs attached. There were bazillions of them and they'd clog the grill of your car. My husband and I were fascinated by them and discovered that if you pulled them apart, they both died.

We called them "fuckbugs" - never did learn what they were.
