Firefox question.. anyone know the answer?
How do I get javascript popups to be allowed? An example, I am trying to view the clip of Jeff Probst's comments on the Survivor contestants but it won't allow me to. This has happened a number of times and several different sites. Is there an extention to fix it? I can't find anything. Help!

2. Instructions
1. Go into the Tools menu
2. Left click on the options command
3. On the left hand menu in options, go to Web Features
4. Once here, there will be check boxes to enable Java and to enable JavaScript
5. Further options exist to enable JavaScript, which include allowed options in your browser environment.

If you don't have the Sun Microsystems version of Java installed, use this link:

8. Have you tried REBOOTING your system.
Silly question maybe but sometimes you have to do that for it to take effect.

10. Does the coffee cup show up in the taskbar?
It should eventually. I've also noticed that Java is kind of flaky in Firefox...seems like applets are either slow to load or completely fall asleep.

5. For Firefox 0.9, go to :Tools > Options > Web Features

Self-explanatory from there.

As to 1.0 : when I get back to my regular PC, I'll take a look and check back in. IIRC, though, there should be either a status-bar icon or a special bar at the top of the page that shows up when the popup gets blocked. You should be able to click on that and it should take you to a settings-window for popup-blocking. But that's just from memory, so don't quote me on that.

6. On regular Mozilla (not Firefox),
Tools
Pop Up Manager
Allow Pop Ups From This Site

(Just in case it helps.)
