You took my favorite. According to Coppolla's commentary, the actor ad libed that line.
Ok, second favorites:
"Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."
&
"Michael, do you know how naive you sound? Senators and presidents don't have people killed."
"Now who's being naive Kay?"
I guess that's what makes the greats great. They resonate decades or centuries later.

was awesome in that movie. I love it when he was explaining to Michael how to shoot the Captain and Solazzo in the restaurant. He was so wistful when he was talking about how "we shoulda taken out Hitler in Munich." then so matter-of-fact when seconds later when describing how he intentionally made the gun louder to scare off the regulars at the restaurant. Very nuanced performance.

I think the funniest line is:
I want someone good, and I mean very good, planting that gun. I don't want my brother coming out of that john with just his dick in his hand.
He (I) made him an offer he couldn't refuse is a classic of course. as is Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes.
I've always liked Michael to Fredo; You're my older brother and I love you but don't ever takes sides with anyone against the family again.....ever.

When Michael shoots him. Love that scene, corrupt authority getting what it deserves.

10. Violence is the first resort of the foolish man.... |

Can't remember the quote exactly, but it's in that spirit.
Also, can't remember if it's in the film, but it's definitely in the book.
Also also, I bought all 3 Godfather films on DVD for about $5 in China.
Ha ha ha.
