Using the book, "If At All Possible, Involve a Cow," which was a history of college pranks, as guidance. One chapter was dedicated to two guys who took over the University of Wisconsin at Madison (one of them the guy who voiced Gypsy on Mystery Science Theater 3000) and made a mockery of it. We were going to promise that every national anthem of every country that was represented on campus would be played by the band before football and basketball games, that the football stadium would be caulked and filled with water so we could have mock naval battles, and we would develop first strike nuclear capability to keep our closest rivals in line.

Shame we didn't do it.

...and like many good dems, I lost.

This was to be expected, considering I was a newcomer to the scene and that I was a late entry and students didn't elect me, the other senators did.

However, come spring, I will be Nixon '68 (w/o the corruption) and I will be in a better position to win.
