Sick animal abusing asshole in my area |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-23-03 11:22 PM by Blue_Chill
My grandfather feels better about herself by working, being that she's over 70 she can't do much so he waters some people plants and such. Well the other day he came upon a wounded racoon, it had been shot in the side. He cried as it writhed around hopelessly, obviously dying. He came home in tears.
My cousin called the lady that owned the house to let her know what had occured. The response she got was sickening. The lady laughed and told my mother that she couldn't beleive the dumb thing was still alive. Her and her boyfriend put food out on the porch on the weekends and intentionally wound the animals and watch them slowly die.
Enraged my mom asked them to stop this at risk of alerting local police and animal welfare groups. She was told the police wouldn't do shit and if "a fucking tree hugger" came over they would shoot and wound him/her and watch that "worthless human waste" die slowly.
I can't even begin to tell you how outraged I am that people do this for pleasure. I am filing a police report tomorrow, and I am considering posting fliers alerting neighbors in this crowded suburb that a person is firing a gun in the area and why he is doing it.
fucker. AAARRRRGGGG!!!!!!!

doesn't always sound like a bad philosophy. Sometimes, as an agnostic, I find myself hoping there is a hell.

5. "Worthless human waste" |
|
Look in the mirror.
I know this stand probably isn't popular. But I love animals as I do fellow human beings, and try to live my life by the mantra "Meat is murder, dairy is rape".
Bless the animals for the companionship they provide.

6. My heart goes out to you: |
|
I had a little lab mix puppy named Buddy that I rescued about 2 years ago. He had been on the streets for awhile and was abused at some point. I nursed him back to health and got him to trust my wife and I. I let him out for a couple of hours while I went to the library one evening, and came back to find that my animal-hating neighbor had shot him in the head with a CO2 pellet gun. Its a good thing I didn't find out who did it until after they moved, or an ass-kicking of large proportions would have ensued.
Go after them and get the ASPCA on their ass if you can. People like that should not get away with it.
I think thats the only reason I watch Animal Planet, so I can see animal abusers get what they deserve on Animal Precinct.

Was your dog ok?
I don't even like to think of the pain I would rain down upon some idiot who dared to harm my dog.

8. What these people are doing... |
|
Is utterly illegal. Completely. Besides that, animal abuse can be a precursor for future violence against people. This is some serious and seriously f***** up s***. That is, I believe, the clinical description, too.
I would HIGHLY suggest that you get in touch with the police. Of course, they would have to watch these people to catch them in the act of animal cruelty to charge them. Discharging firearms in an unsafe manner might also figure into the thing.
I would also counsel you to work towards getting your grandparent well away from them. They are not safe to be around. Really. They are looking for victims. Animals fit the bill. For now. People like them can go onto bigger "game", in satisfying their need for a bigger "charge". They sound like two people, with serious problems, who are feeding off each other. A potentially dangerous situation.
What city do you live in?

9. These are sick and dangerous individuals.... |
|
they are not merely indifferent to the suffering of a creature, but enjoy causing the suffering. They will not stop with animals. Please report them to the authorities (who will take a very careful and concerned look at these cretins' activities)
