damn. I saw this program on a Malaysian boy (at least I think he was malaysian) who had these gigantiform hematoma tumors in his face... he was like 5 years old or something. they were so big, one had pinched the nerve for his right eye and he was blind in it, his teeth had fallen out and he had to tilt his head all the way back to drink. anyway, the removed the tumors and he looks nearly fine now.

I just saw a program on Discovery Health channel about a woman with a 200 lb. tumor. There was more tumor than there was her.

Radtke weighed more than 300 pounds when she suddenly started losing weight without dieting. Her family encouraged her to get medical attention.
Doctors said the tumor had been growing for at least one year with huge blood vessels attached. She said despite losing weight and having difficulty walking, she was nervous about seeing a doctor.
"I was so scared. I didn't know what the outcome would be," she said.
Was she THAT scared, or that broke? If she weighed that much before the tumor started growing, she should have been seeing a doctor as a matter of course anyway. I'm sure it would have helped a lot if medical care were easier to get in this country.
