1. I voted handsom (sic)
but truthfully he was the first musician I ever had a crush on. I think he's terribly sexy.

4. I think I was aware of his music before I really saw him
And I loved his stuff so when I saw him, it was a matter of, "oh, so that's what he looks like." I grew up in the 60's and 70's - odd looking people were the norm. I thought he was pretty hot.

5. I went with "killer music" etc.

Because back in the early seventies, when I was a hormone-fueled, pot-smoking, LSD-slurping adolescent, that's exactly what it was. Even the homo eroticism didn't faze "all the young dudes" in the least; in fact, it set the stage for living my life thereafter.

6. I first saw him on TV when I was about 8
And at 8, it's way too adult to understand.

7. Boy or girl?
Funny 'cause I had heard a couple of his songs ("Fame" and "Space Oddity"), knew they were by a guy named David Bowie, and liked 'em. I had no idea what he looked like, though. The first time I saw the Changesonebowie cover (I know that may not technically be the title, but that's what it says across the top) I wasn't sure who the artist was supposed to be, and I thought the person in the pictures was a woman! It was only later I found out it was a David Bowie album.

See, I'm psychic. That's also how I knew that he would become even more derivative, shameless, and embarrassing over the years :)

16. I probably first saw him when I was 3 or 4. The Bing Crosby duet...
...on "Little Drummer Boy."

Given my age at the time, my first reaction was probably "he's old."
