Folktown on Siruis radio is so seriously great
I've "found" a genre of music, folk, that I had never been exposed to. And tomorrow they have Alison Krause performing live at their studio. If you're getting someone Sirius for the holidays, you're gonna be their hero. (No - I don't work for them :))

1. Well, as soon as I have my stereo transferred to my
new car I can finally enjoy Sirius for the first time. When I bought the stereo they didn't have the service up and running yet.

3. Its great when I hear like 20 great songs in a row, no commercials,

by artists I've never heard of. Side benefit: My TV watching has been cut by about 70%. (And I watched a lot of TV)

Double side benefit: No desire to tune in to cnn or the rest. I have all the real I news I want.

4. my favorite folk station: folkalley.com
you can listen by going to: http://www.folkAlley.com and clicking the "listen" link ...

it's also listed on most media players under the "internet radio" listings ...

the station is 100% commercial free and they play an incredible mix of music ... give it a listen; you won't be disappointed ...

i don't have Sirius but if i did, it sounds like i would be setting button #1 to Folktown ...
