Hate to say it, since I live in the middle of Cajun country and am thus perhaps being "disloyal" (haha) and know that KFC (Pepsi-owned, I believe) are major Re:puke: enablers. (Though Popeye's probably are as well; most fast food joints seem to be...) But there's something about that secret blend of eleven herbs and spices and the awesome gravy at KFC. I like both of them, but give them the edge.

I enjoy KFC's BBQ sandwich (ANd htey gravy as someone already has mentioned) so it wins...
Maybe it's just because it's VA... but I've been too 2 Popeye's and they have both been horrible... "shrugs"

We had one in my town for about 6 months before it closed. I first encountered them in Houston. I voted for them although I must admit to an absolute love for KFC chicken strips.

and KFC is owned by evil shitheads, who condone the poor treatment of animals and migrant workers, YUM! Brands.
Don't know about Popeye's, but personally I find eating at places like these are conducive to adding loads of weight and enriching ReThugs.
