Franken vs Coulter is a great view of right wing tactics

I'm listening to the exchange they had on that radio show, and its such a telling example of how the don't even believe their own bullshit.

The whole thing can be summed up like this:

Al: You lied, here's proof.

Ann: Yeah, I made a mistake, big deal.

Al: But you used this as a big example in your book.

Ann: WHADDYA WANT, I'M NOT JESUS CHRIST!


and so on.

After being reduced to a stumbling, bumbling mess she made a lame excuse of not having call waiting so she could get off the phone.

Completely pathetic, but it shows the RW playbook: Lie, lie, lie, smear as many people as you can with your lies, make the people believe your lies, and when you get caught lying act like it was no big deal.

8. The way she shrugs off being wrong just irks me....

She gets called on having stuff she bases her "liberals are evil" theories on as lies, and she doesn't even bother to suggest otherwise. Instead she just acts like it doesn't matter her whole premise was built on a lie, just like President Monkey-in-a-Man-Suit does.

11. My take on Ann Coulter.

She is a fake. She doesn't believe a word of what she is writing. She is a opportunist, pure and simple. Heck, I even thinks she HELPS our cause because she vocalizes the America's worst fears about the Right Wing.

Regardless, we give her way to much press on DU.
