To Me, The Most Fascinating Threads On DU Are...

The one's about the military strength of the U.S. compared to other nations.

They really bring out of the woodwork some of the most interesting discussions over military power and how we use it.

Considering I know nothing about the military and how large of a force we have, its fascinating to see a debate between one guy who insists that our military can wipe out every nation on earth in 15 seconds and another guy who says we're screwed if we try anything funny against Nation X.

Then they start using fancy schmancy military terms and weaponry terms and I'm lost, kinda like when there's an occasional DU thread on math or science.

I just get lost reading it, but its still fun.
