Dean Bashing on Pardon the Interruption
PTI is a sports debate show which is supposed to be strictly about sports well a topic came up that went like this, Dean was a Yankees fan when he was with New York, when he moved to Vermont he became a Red Sox fan, can you trust him?

1. Yeah, but it wasn't the regular PTI crew
Wilbon and Kornheiser were AWOL for a day. Bob Ryan took some time off from threatening Jason Kidd's wife to bash Dean, along with that other sub host, a sports on TV critic, who babbles thru pathetic attempts at humor.

Nothing on ESPN regarding Howard Dean will matter until he's critiqued by the politically astute Around The Horn crew, especially liberal lover Woody Paige from Denver. Word from the political camps is that an endorsement from Max Kellerman could easily mean a few dozen extra electoral votes for Dean.

2. I thought Wilbon and Kornheiser were fired
I don't watch the show often but the last few times I watched the show, they weren't on.

3. No, the show was designed specifically for Wilbon and Kornheiser

Apparently their loudmouth but good natured rants around the Washington Post offices were well known to someone at ESPN, who requested a creative show featuring that. The show will be dumped before Wilbon or Kornheiser. It's their vehicle and suffers noticeably minus either.

They will be back on Wednesday.

Hey, this is my 700th. When do I start feeling blessed and whole?

4. They had a charity golf outing yesterday
That was rained out, but they showed up anyway, because, well, it would be rude not to.
