Colon Bowel: that 2001 slip up about Saddam
having no wmd capability that John Pilger quoted: is it being censored in the US or has the media picked up on this one?

1. Thundering silence
even on another GD, non-partisan, bulletin board in which I participate, which has many posters as angry as me at BushCo.

I cannot understand this...

2. You have to give them a few months, or even years
Many in the news media have developed this quaint habit of looking at eachother to see who will pick up the turd first and run with it. Until someone does, they'll all pretend they don't see it.

Later, they'll all trumpet it like an earthshaking revelation and pride themselves on their hard work.

3. In 'recovery therapy' there's an old saying:
"SOMEONE HAS TO TELL THE CLIENT THAT SHIT SMELLS".......
when it comes to 'stinking thinking'

4. That's why KKKarl listens to the stink tanks when he makes up...
the next political move(WAR)and tells Bush what his next orders(visions) from Gawd are! Don't forget Bush had those Visions about the Yellow cake and WMDs before the war! Colon can use those visions as exibit A at the UN instead of forged hearsay reports from Tony Blair next time! The bushies are presenting a case that is about as airtight as a screen door on a submarine in the UN!

I think the plea to the UN is simply a political ploy! I think that if the UN don't kiss Bush's feet and give in, that Bush in his 04 campaign will later point the finger of blame for the growing cancer in Iraq at the UN! I think going to the UN on Bush's terms yesterday was a propaganda stunt! Bush will be LUCKY after the year of total nose thumbing if the UN will do anything at all!

5. I think that Kofi Annan is a wily old fox who didn't like being told
that the UN is an irrelevant talking shop, last year. Bowel looks pretty damned scared because as a former military man - a close chum of that model of rectitude stormin norman schwartzkopf - the whole war raison d'etre, the wmds, have turned out to be a fiction, culminating in the mysterious 'death by the bushes' of Blair's chief witchfinder general. Also, the military threat by the so called assess of evil has so far not materialised and everyone from Hans Blix to the International Atomic Energy Authority top honcho is saying the spin was a crude political ploy to divert attention away from domestic agendas.
