3. I'm cheating here, but...
...Jason & The Scorchers did a cover version of "My Kingdom For A Car" that I liked for two reasons...first, it was a typical J&TS "all hell breaks loose" train wreck kind of rocker. Second, any time a performer gives recognition to someone like Phil, I think it's worth noting.

It's on their album "Thunder & Fire."

4.  Squirrel Bait did a great cover of "Tape From California"
on their Skag Heaven album. I miss those guys; their first record (w/ "Sun God")was years ahead of it's time...
