...coffee?

I don't need 400 blends of coffee. I just want plain black coffee, not a fru-fru girly drink!

4. Make Mine Mud
I like black, generic coffee -- as black as my soul and as bitter as my lot in life.

The Folger's coffee bags are the best thing I found, if they count as being chi-chi ("frou-frou" is clothing).

6. Yuck. That's convenience store coffee
I don't like fru-fru girly coffees, but I DO like decent beans to grind up.

The closest I've found in the 'corporate' coffee is a bag of 8 O'Clock beans, but the fair exchange-type stuff tastes and smells MUCH better.

7. I drive a plain car
I live in a little plain house with a big plain yard and wear pretty plain cloths.

I splurge on two things: good food and good drinks.

Green and white tea, nice wine and organic veggies...also in the drinks column a good tasty coffee. I love coffee...the aroma...its friendly warmth and the captivating flavor. Black or with a little cream. Not real often and not in quantity.

I am not a snob, I just like certain things.

18. I Have To Use Twice As Much Maxwell House...
to get the same full flavor as I do from dark roasted fresh ground beans.

I'm with you though on all those flavored coffees. Hazlenut, pecan, chocolate, vanilla, Irish creme.... YUK! Just give me coffee... but I want it to be rich, full, and smooth as silk.
