I love Jamie Bell. Am I a dirty old lady?

If you've not seen Billy Elliott (like me, what, 4 years after the fact), do. It's well done, and has some nice moments. And Jamie Bell is going to be a big star. A really adorable big star. What a sweetie. Is he 18 yet?

1. All I saw was the ads to the movie

With all that prancing and toe dancing, I thought the kid was gay and had to dance, and that was the "issue" of the film.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

Was the film any good? It looked well photographed in the adverts.

3. He's not gay...

He's the son of a coal miner, who's on strike. His dad sends him to boxing, but he's not very good at it...in the same gym there's also a ballet class, which he becomes interested in. People figure that because he wants to do ballet he's a "puff"....but he's not and there's also a touching scene with a girl, actually one of the nicest scenes.

It's quite well done.
There's a good subplot about his father and brother on strike. There are some scenes that are just...everything that a movie should be.

It was on a few best of the year lists I think, in 2000.

2. Yes he's 18.. but you cant have him, he's MINE! hehe

Watch him in Nicholas Nickleby as Smike, he breaks your heart! He's so fricking cute! and he's only 3 weeks younger them me.

And he's going to be in King Kong, and theres some other movie Undertow that I think might be out in some places, it looks really cool.

Oh my lord. Didn't know that....I think I'm going to have to see King Kong at least twice :)

He is SO cute! He has such an intense edge to him, for such a youngun.
Haven't seen Nicholas Nickleby, will try to.
