RagingInMiami's famous hot dog recipe
Inspired by Matcom's post, here is the recipe for some of the best tasting hot dogs you will ever have.

Preheat oven to 375. Wrap a slice of Oscar Mayer bacon around a Hebrew National frankfurter. Place in oven on a baking sheet.

Cook for about 20 minutes or even longer if you're like me and prefer a slighly charred dog wrapped in crispy bacon.

You can use a hot dog roll, but I usually use a Mexican tortilla which brings the flavors out more because it is thin. It also holds all the toppings in because you wrap it like a burrito.

When the hot dog is done, place in bun or tortilla and add celery salt, which brings out even more flavor.

Add your favorite toppings. I usually go with mustard, onions and hot peppers. Enjoy.

9. It does, but you have to keep it away from the flames and on a high grill
Edited on Tue Dec-14-04 06:48 PM by RagingInMiami
EDIT: I thought you were talking about an outdoor grill

20. Possibly
personally I'd just eat the bacon and give the hot dogs to my little bro. He loves 'em, but I never liked the kosher hot dogs. Not enough pig anus I think. :)

23. Sounds pretty damn good
and with the cheese added you have just about the most un-kosher dish imaginable. :D

17. You still here?
Mystery meat wrapped in nitrates, charred and then sprinkled with the worst of all seasonings, celery salt.

And, to think, I trusted you with a cheesecake mission.

mmmmmmmm or, as I like to call them, blade scrapings in a bun.

Attn Mods: tube was in no way a reference to any anatomical object. It is merely what my family has referenced weenies since my youth. Heee heeee heeee I said weeny.
