7. How can one chose a Credence favorite?
I chose Proud Mary just because it was all alone without a vote when I saw it, but among most of those listed I couldn't really say which.

13. (Lodi) The man from the magazine, said I was on my way
Ha! I can relate to that song, kinda sorta a little bit in a manner of speaking, well not really, but I really like the tune :D

John Fogarty, if you're out there, CCR will never die.

15. Lookin' Out My Back Door. When my little sister was just a couple years
old that song came out. She was just adorable, and she'd sing that thing all the time (or at least her version of it).

I raised her until he was twelve. She died from a brain tumor when she was 22. Everytime I hear that song it makes me happy just remembering her, "Doo Doo Doo Doo out my back door." That's all she really came close to getting right. But she sure had the spirit of the song down.

19. Voted for "Who'll Stop the Rain"
I like all of those listed in the poll. To these I would add "Have You Ever Seen the Rain", "Hey Tonight", "Long as I can See the Light", "Someday Never Comes", "Walk on the Water", "It's Just a Thought", "I Put a Spell on You", "Sinister Purpose", and "Ramble Tamble." Oh yeah, and I have to mention "Rude Awakening #7" from Pendulum since I'm the only person I know who actually likes it.

Yeah, so I guess I like too many CCR songs...

23. Effigy
Too many excellent CCR songs to pick out just one favorite, but this one has a very powerful quality about it and is frequently overlooked by these "best of CCR" polls.

Give it a listen sometime; it really evokes the late 60s/early 70s for me.

The song was practically written about our current president. Every. Single. Line.
