I need some help finding the group who sang an old soul/R&B song... |
|
I heard it on the oldies station this weekend. I love this song!
It sounds like old Motown - at least I think it was Motown. It is a song that was popular in the late 60's to early 70's. Don't know who sang it. The lyrics that stick in my head are as follows:
"...When I die, I hope I'd be the kind of man that you thought I should be..." or something like that. It has a relatively slow groove, and sounds like something the Impressions could have done. But I don't think it was them.
It is driving me freakin' crazy.
CAN YOU HELP ME! Otherwise, I think I might smack myself in the head to try to forget this song!
