Whew!! I slept for 12 hours, and I feel REALLY good. |
|
I hadn't slept in 3 days prior to yesterday afternoon (finals week cramming), and I originally decided to drive to my parent's place after the test, but I needed the sleep desperately. I was living off of an intraveneous Red Bull IV for 3 days, and I don't think that was too healthy. Now for the next 10 days or so, it'll be normal sleep and plenty of fruits and vitamins for me.
Thank God I decided to stay home an extra day.

I usually drink lots of orange juice, though.

but evaporated milk is okay. Try that. And I also have a handful of almonds regularly. It's full of calcium. I understand there is almond milk but I've never had it or seen it in the supermarket. Grape juice has more vitamin C than orange juice, and is a good substitute for red wine. You get the goodness without the alcohol.

5. Also, make sure never to drive if you are tired and sleepy. |

6. Unless I was on a 36-hour bender (or all-nighter), that much sleep makes |
|
me feel like shit. Even if I need that much sleep, chances are I will feel just as tired when I wake up. I don't understand the science behind it. Good to hear that you are feeling well. I got my last two exams starting in about 4 hours or so. Fun!

7. I went to bed early yesterday too |
|
I was in bed before 9:00 pm. I woke up without the alarm at 5 this morning. It felt good to get a full 8 hours (I had been averaging 4 hrs over the past few nights) and then get up and get some exercise before coming to work.
