well wishes and thoughts needed
My wonderful wife has neck surgery Thursday AM, going to fuse three vertebrae, remove some spurs, put in a plate and generally muck about. I will be taking a few weeks off of work to stay with her, and she will be out of work for 8 weeks. For the first month, she cannot pick up more than 10 lbs, how the cats will handle that remains to be seen.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts:scared:

1. Positive thoughts going your way...
For both you and your wife, and also for your cats.

I hope she has a very speedy recovery.

2. Good thoughts going to you and yours
My production manager here at work just had the fusing thing done on Friday. He is doing remarkably well he says and feels great. Here's hoping all goes as well and a speedy recovery.

5. I have heard good things
that this is one surgery that you feel better when you wake up. If it works well, I will have mine done this summer (but only one disk)

8. Looking forward to it
The hospital will let me stay overnight tomorrow, I feel safer that way-we won't get into psycho ex-
She should be OK when I go back to work in January, but if not I have about 83 sick days left

10. yes
we have the cutter with the best rep in the area.
But a botched knee job (which I have) is one thing, but a botched neck is another matter altogether

12. I am being as positive as possible
The doc claims the only issue she will have is that the plate will set off metal detectors in airports
