Here's what will happen if the Red Sox and Cubs reach the World Series
Fenway Park will be struck by a large meteor and vaporized in the bottom of the 12th in Game 7. There can't possibly be any other outcome.

8. No, I'd say just the opposite.
Cubs at bat. Two outs bottom of the ninth. Sosa hits a slow roller to Bill Buckner and.....whoomp, asteroid hits.

Babe Ruth rises from the dead and begin feeding on the brains of the living in the obstructed seats.

11. Cubs=1908 Red Sox=1918 (or 1919, I get my Sox futility streaks mixed up)
It one or the other Sox that lost won the Fall Classic in either 1918 or 1919.

Either way that is 179 years of combined futility for Chicago and Boston.

And to think that the most successful team in Senior Circuit history (Cardinals) have played a major roll in keeping both of these steaks going.

But now I'm doing my Cub fan imitation: "Wait 'till next year".

What will we do in Baseball City USA this October?
