What Did You Dream About Last Night?
I had another one of those "I-was-back-with-my-ex" dreams. And as usual, we were arguing and I was thinking to myself... "how did I get here" and "I promised myself that I'd never return to this crap"!

Apparently in my dreams I'm not clever enough to realize it's a dream... so I go along with the rediculous plot until I wake up.

1. The only thing I remember about last night's dream
was that the dish soap bottle was full. When I woke up it was empty.

6. Oooh like in that movie?
I don't remember the name but I do know Christopher Walken was in it. And that you could record dreams and other people could ... no wait... maybe that wasn't it.

Nevermind.

7. I hate when I dream that I've smoked a cigarette - I get
really disappointed in myself - I quit years ago!

And, I posted to you because you didn't post in my "dare or dare" thread last night and I had a good one lined up for you! :P

3. Freud would say the dream fulfilled your wish
because when you woke up, your wish to be back out of the relationship was fulfilled! Of course if you had been dreaming you were having great sex, he would have said that you were fulfilling your wish while you were dreaming, even if waking up left you agonizingly unfulfilled.

In conclusion, Freud was full of shit.

PS: I don't remember my dreams last night.

23. I always dream about tornados when...
I'm worried about something looming in my life. Big tornado for something big, little tornado for something minor.

Weirdly, I never had them until a boyfriend told me about his tornado dreams. It's like I caught them from him.

29. Theres nothing that drives me up the wall more than the 'nado
dreams...

Most times they pop when Im not useing a creative outlet, and those are easy to recognize, I usually take shelter in some big building and meet lots of people Ive never seen before.

But these other ones are just nasty and pointless... it seems.

I wonder if they are catchy...?

12. i dreamed that i had moved to northern Spain
i had a beautiful old home with a red tile roof, on a cliff overlooking the water. i was biking into town with my wicker basket to buy fresh baked bread.... it was heavenly! the air was pleasantly warm, the skies clear, sound of the waves and seagulls, the town was nestled beside a little cove and fishing vessels dotted the harbor.

i hope i end up there again tonight!

15. Not last night...but I had the weirdest dream about one of my co-workers.
I'm at Tim's...my co-worker...house. I'm sitting on the couch, drinking a beer.

And suddenly...I'm 5" tall, standing inside a hamster cage, with Tim and his wife laughing at me.

What does that mean? :-)

25. I dreamed I was in a horrible car accident.
I couldn't get back to sleep after that. I was in and out of bed all night checking on the baby and having heart burn and a terrible headache.

Blah!

I feel okay now tho.

27. i had dreams about my ex's too. they were all together
in sort of a police lineup. they were all standing there looking pretty damn cute and joking around with each other. i was on the other side of the glass checking them all out. they weren't really in a police station though, it was more like a photgraphy studio ... and as i looked at them i remembered things about all of them that i missed. weird. i am friends with them anyway, and don't want to be anything more than that in real life...

what the heck is up with that?

32. Not last night but the night before
I had one of the scariest dreams I've ever had in my life. It wasn't so much its content as the effect that it had upon me. In it, I was over at the house of a deceased relative who was instead alive and looked totally normal. This relative was telling me all of these horrible things about another deceased relative of mine and threatening me if I didn't sit and listen. Eventually I made a run for it out to my car and this living dead relative of mine was chasing me down with a screwdriver (the tool, not the drink). That was some scary shit... and I have no idea what its meaning could be. I rarely have dreams that messed-up. I was trying to talk in the dream and it was hard for words to come out; I tried to talk and yell out in real life and my mouth was unbearably dry. I had to take the GRE yesterday so was probably just stressing out.

Oh yeah, it did have a comedic element to it, though. When I ran out to my car, someone (my right-wing relatives, perhaps?) had removed my John Kerry sticker and replaced it with like twenty of those stupid "Support Our Troops" ribbons, with a variety of slogans and colors. But apparently in the dream I had morped from an uptight left-winger to an uptight right-winger because I was more pissed that this was going to mess up my paint job than that my car was now bearing an implicit pro-Shrub message!

33. oh man
i was in the attic of my house, only it was definitely not my real attic. strange things were happening up there.... i sat against the far wall with a handgun and waited...then a 3 foot diameter flying saucer looking thing flew at me. i fired several times, all ricocheting like crazy, and it just slowed it down, then it floated around slowly and disappeared. then, my cat got into the entrance that went up to the next attic level. yes my attic had at least three floors. when i got to the top, there were four or five mean, evil cats trying to scratch me. i popped out of the door and was in some sort of room below the attic levels, and saw one of the evil cats sitting on top of a bookshelf, then it disappeared into it.

basically.
