What's for supper?
I'm making a meat loaf, skin-on mashed potatoes and red-cabbage slaw.

never hire an alchemist instead of a cook; the last one burned the soup to carbon which just collapsed in on itself. We each got a 1 carat diamond on our dinner plates.

17. cheese sandwiches...cooker is disconnected for cleaning
hopefully I'll reconnect it this weekend. If I do it's venison casserole with roasted spuds and parsnips covered in chilli-infused olive oil.

Meanwhile I'm left with salt and vinegar Hula Hoops...yuk.

29. Freezer stew
except it wasn't frozen. It tastes OK.

I tried my version of 'freezer stew'. Another poster in the frugal ideas posted that he/she keeps left over vegies and meat in the freezer and then makes a stew. Well, I cooked eggplant marinated in vinegar, olive oil and basil with asparagus cooked in soy and sesame oil with vegetable stock and left over tomatoe sauce. Oh, I then added the left over salad which had parmesan on it. Seriously. It actually tastes pretty good.

Want to come for dinner. LOL
