Poll question: Do You Dream In Colour or Black & White? |
|
My dreams have always been in colour, but I was told that men generally dream in black & white.

2. Is there some psychological explanation for the difference? |
|
I don't think I've ever dreamed in black and white. Life is in color. Any ideas of what accounts for the difference in how people dream?

6. People don't normally dream in black and white |
|
The perception that you've had a "black and white dream" is usually the result of forgetting the colors in the dream.

9. I wonder if this was ever a question people asked before movies |
|
Or before movies, did people wonder who dreamed in still images? Serious question here.

12. Color is a function of light.. and there's no light in your brain. |
|
Just inserting a "whoa dude" element into the discussion. :)
I dream in color, but I wouldn't really call it color.. More like an interpretation of what my brain understands as color.

Not just color, but lots of times VIVID color, like the color is almost a character in the dream. The last one I had like that was a dream about giant BLUE flying fish passing by my dining room window.
When I woke up, for whatever reason, that blue seemed to me to be the important part of the dream. I dont know anything about analyzing dreams, though, so I wouldn't have a clue what it means.
Not long after my Mom died, I had a dream where I was watching her walking away from me in a vividly GREEN field of grass. Again, when I woke up I knew that the color was the important part of the dream.
