Anyone know how to convert WMA's into MP3's?

I've got some Velvet Revolver songs I'd like to put on my iPod.

1. Did you try dragging them into iTunes?

iTunes has a "Convert Selection to MP3" option (under advanced) which may or may not work, depending on the format/DRM status of the files

easy as 1-2-3

just make sure your import settings are for MP3 not lossless, aac, etc...
